I wish this progress was making me money, but I fear that it is not. You can help that, I reckon.
See, I released a new song this weekend: The March of Day. It's the second movement in my symphony in the works, The Batallion. I also began work on a new piano piece, Fate's Jests. I think I'll include it as a bonus track on The Batallion as something of a side story to the symphony.
Uhm. I sell my music, too. I would love to produce music professionally some day, but I'd be quite happy to see some songs sell online in the mean time.
Anyway, check out my SoundClick to hear the latest.
I've also made progress on my custom arcade stick now that the initial "it didn't work" depression has passed. I need to do a bit of work with a soldering iron before it's 100%, but I've got the stick itself and five of the face buttons working on the PS2/PS3 controller side of things. This means I can use it with my computer, too.
I'm pretty excited about that. If nothing else, I can play King of Fighters.

Anyway, here's a current picture of the working model. I'll take pics of the guts once I have them all up and running again. I'm also adding a piece of custom art... more of a decal, really... to the surface once the insides are taken care of. I guess I can share that image now.

Bear in mind... this is meant to compliment and identify the stick... not be a piece of art that will have buttons sitting on top of it. So, I decided that a sharingan from Naruto (points if you can identify whose sharingan that is) was a good fit. I could explain that, but I don't feel like feeding my nerdy side that much this time around. Then there is the stick's name (everything needs a name... cars, guitars... custom sticks), The Titan Helios.
I like it.
I can't wait for the stick to be fully functional and adorned. It's gonna amaze and wow. I'll update you again when it's finished.
