ghetto like this, so I've been simply recording with my laptop's
built-in mic It sounds bad, but it works for demo stuff.
I (re-)realized today that the microphone used with Rock Band... is a
USB mic. I plugged it into my laptop... and it shows up as a
Logitech USB Mic. Hmm. That's pretty cool.
Then it was time to figure out how well it actually worked.
So I set it up in front of my amp... got the levels balanced out.
It's not pro-grade recording quality, but it actually works
surprisingly well.
That made me happy. Now I've gotta record something of my own to
share. Can't exactly post covers thanks to copyright laws. (See a
previous post for my mild rant on that.)
