Coheed and Cambria

Ah. Coheed and Cambria... where would I be without you?

Probably in the same place... doing the same thing... if I'm totally honest.

But now is not the time for honesty. Now is the time for raving fanboyism.

After the insisting of my best friend a while back, I finally listened to their music... I initially had a response of "ah... that's cool... I guess." But... I listened more. Grabbed the other albums.

I was hooked.

I will go so far as to say that any time I turned music on on my Zune... it was Coheed... for a good while. Obsessive? Sad? Ridiculous? Yes, kinda, and definitely not.

The music alone is enough to get me hooked (and it's what got me hooked originally). But then I listened to the lyrics... and was puzzled. Then I was pointed to some of the comic books.

See... Coheed and Cambria's albums are all linked in this epic-scope story with crazy happenings and character interactions... and part of those stories have been written about in comic books/graphic novels.

There is still so much more to the story that I've yet to learn... but every bit I learn about the story makes me appreciate all of the works of Claudio Sanchez more.

I have so much appreciation and respect for Coheed and Cambria.
