Rocking the Guitar

I love playing the guitar. Have I mentioned that in the last hour?

I used to be "all about" electric guitar playing. I've since gotten a pretty solid guitar rig up and running. Lately, though... I've really loved playing my acoustic. I think, really... it comes down to not having people to play music with. It's a lot easier to write songs on the acoustic guitar than the electric guitar when I have nobody to rock with.

I have a couple of demo tracks recorded and posted on Soundclick (http://www.soundclick.com/kennyyeager). My more recent stuff is really taking more influence from Emery than anyone else. I'm just fine with that (seeing as Emery is my favorite band around), but it means a major change in melodic direction.

Speaking of guitar and songwriting and so on... I think I'm gonna try and record my acoustic cover/rearrangement of Chevelle's "The Red" to post on YouTube.

Do that... and take care of some music theory homework due tomorrow.
