It's Official

Three things are official today.

I brought an umbrella to school, but it seems to stop raining when I'm
getting from one class to another.

I have been accepted into Phi Theta Kappa.

And I have not played Street Fighter IV in nearly three weeks.

My responses to these things, in respective order, are: Lame, awesome,
and that sucks.

Umbrellas (ellas, ellas) are pretty sweet. With how much it rains
around here... seems like everyone should have one. It is pretty weak
that the first time I try to carry one... the rain dumps while I'm
inside, but barely drizzles (at the most) while I'm outside...
rendering it pretty useless.

Phi Theta Kappa? I hope this helps me get scholarships. It'll look
good on applications... as well as job apps/resumes. Yay for that.

But what is up with not playing Street Fighter in that long? That
sucks so epically. It wasn't that long ago that I would often
play with some of the best people in the Northwest. I would generally
get dominated by them, but at least I played them and more or less had
their respect. Being out of the scene for so long is lame.

Sure, I've been busy with more important things like trying to get
into college over in Florida, but it still seems weak.

I think it also has to do with my love for the game diminishing in
light of my picking up an import copy of Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. That's
another topic altogether, though... and I'll save my raving for
another post.

Right now, it's time for lunch.

I love this "meals made in advance then frozen for later eating"
thing. Today? A variant on the rice bowl. Teriyaki chicken, fried
rice, and lo mein noodle.
