In case you haven't noticed, there are times (lots of them) when I say something random for the sake of confusing you and/or making you laugh at ridiculous comments.
I call this "going for the lolwat?"
The "lolwat?" as I define it is simple: it is a response to something wherein you laugh but then realize you have no idea why you laughed.
The thing about getting a lolwat? out of someone is that it's a challenge. It's a special kind of humor. Telling a joke can get a laugh, but there you know why you're laughing.
Getting a lolwat? requires doing something so out there but somehow intrinsically funny that a person cannot help but laugh... and then try to figure out why after the fact.
Being able to get a lolwat? is a gift.
Try it sometime.
